Hostaway to Monday Integration

Reservation information now syncs automatically into monday.com, allowing the operations team to manage bookings, cleaning, and maintenance workflows without manual data entry. The system reduces administrative workload and ensures operational tasks always reflect the latest reservation data.

Project Overview

A property management company was using Hostaway to manage reservations across booking platforms, while operational work such as cleaning, maintenance, and scheduling was managed separately in monday.com. Because the two systems were not connected, reservation data had to be manually entered into monday.com, creating duplicate work and increasing the risk of errors. I built a Make.com integration that automatically pulls reservation data from the Hostaway API and syncs it into monday.com. The automation retrieves reservation records, processes the booking data, and maps key details such as guest information, property details, dates, and booking identifiers into the appropriate monday.com board structure. The workflow also uses data storage and routing logic to track previously synced reservations, ensuring that only new or updated bookings are processed. When a reservation is identified, the automation either creates a new item in monday.com or updates the existing one, keeping operational data aligned with the booking platform. This integration allows the operations team to manage property tasks directly in monday.com while reservation data stays continuously synchronised with Hostaway.
