Teams have clear visibility of active jobs, foremen receive organised work planning, and issues are tracked against the correct project. Administrative coordination has been reduced and operational communication is significantly clearer.
Project Overview
A scaffolding company was managing job information across spreadsheets and disconnected tools, making it difficult to coordinate work between project managers, foremen, and operational staff. Job progress, planning, and issue reporting were fragmented, which slowed communication between departments and reduced visibility of active work. I designed and implemented a structured monday.com system that acts as the company’s central operations platform. The core Jobs Master board manages all active and completed projects, including addresses, project managers, estimated durations, and operational status. Each job moves through defined workflow stages from planning through to completion. Additional boards were created to support daily operations. A Daily Overview board automatically surfaces active jobs for operational visibility, while Foreman Planning and Loader Tasks boards manage work allocation for field teams. An Issues Board allows staff to submit problems through a structured form that links each issue directly to the relevant job, ensuring accountability and traceability. Board automations were implemented to move jobs between stages, create related operational tasks, notify project managers when action is required, and automatically generate daily operational views. The result is a connected workflow where project data flows between departments without manual coordination.
